Ronnie is amazing. I would add a few though. Gerry Mulligan was my favorite for many years. His approach to melody was amazing. DOC with Tower of Power has recorded some amazing section stuff too.

Just a few more to get the list started.

sksaxgirl, you're thinking of Harry Carney. He was awesome.

Gerry Mulligan has been a favorite of mine, and I REALLY like the style of Doc in Tower.

Don't even get me started on Ronnie Cuber...
