the insterments i playi have been playing the guitar for alomost 3 and 1/2 yrs. and i have been playing the french horn for 2 yrs. at school i play the guitar just for myself.

and before that he played oboe and before that he played clarinet. now he also tries to play drums. hehe.

While we're listing our instruments, I'll do the same for me. I started on the alto saxophone seven years ago and still work on it today. I picked up the bari sax four years ago, and still work on it, but it is not as strong as it could be as far as tone and sound are concerned. I picked up the tenor three years ago and now it is my primary horn. I am called for it at almost all school functions. I picked up the clarinet two years ago, but haven't been able to touch one in about three months. I had learned the basics of flute last summer, but was unable to pursue them throughout my HS year this year just until a week or two ago when I finally got my own.
Phew...fun fun fun

Yeah, but you're sister's cooler for being able to do all four saxophones plus flute, clarinet, and whatever else and still kicking my butt at it! =P

When I started playing in 5th grade, I started on alto. Then I switched to tenor in 7th grade and that is the sax I am currently playing. I enjoy the tenor and want to learn more about the other saxes as well as other instruments.

The more stuff that you play well, the better chance you have of making it as a musician later on. It is always better to start sooner with doubles too.

All four saxes (soprano, alto, tenor, baritone) most certainly flute, piccolo, clarinet, bass clarinet.
If you are really on top of it - oboe and english horn. Maybe even bassoon.
